Sacred Start 2025: A Prayer Board Experience
We closed the year meaningfully and began the new one with something women could carry forward.
Sacred Start was created as a different kind of end-of-year gathering. Not a vision board event, and not a motivational session—rather, an intentional, faith-led space where women could slow down, reflect, and prepare spiritually for the year ahead.
In a season that often feels busy, loud, and emotionally demanding, Sacred Start offered something many women rarely get: time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most.
This gathering was designed to support women who wanted to enter the new year with deeper clarity, stronger faith, and a more grounded sense of direction—not through pressure, but through prayer, intention, and meaningful reflection.
A Different Approach to Preparing for the New Year
While vision boards can be inspiring, Sacred Start was built around a different focus. Instead of publicly sharing goals and plans, participants created prayer boards centered on spiritual intentions, personal growth, and alignment.
The experience encouraged women to reflect on questions such as:
- What do I want God to develop in me this year?
- What do I need to release to move forward?
- What areas of my life require more intention and consistency?
- What does peace, discipline, and growth look like for me personally?
The goal was not to create a perfect plan, but to create a meaningful foundation.
What Made the Experience Meaningful
Sacred Start was intentionally designed as a small-group experience to preserve the intimacy and sacredness of the space. This allowed participants to feel comfortable, present, and supported throughout the afternoon.
The environment was calm and guided, combining reflection, prayer, conversation, and hands-on creativity. Participants did not attend to take notes or listen to speakers for hours. Instead, they were invited to actively engage and build something personal that they could take home and keep visible throughout the year.
The result was a room filled with women who were not only seeking “a good event,” but seeking something deeper: clarity, peace, direction, and connection.
A Reminder Worth Carrying Into the Year
One of the strongest messages that emerged through Sacred Start was this:
You do not have to enter a new year with pressure.
You can enter with alignment.
Sacred Start reminded us that growth does not always begin with more goals. Sometimes it begins with more honesty, more intention, and more willingness to listen for God’s direction.
